Jardine River Ferry out of action last week

Was listening to MACCA on Sunday morning whole Sth bound on the Hume and a call come through from a guy,at the tip of Aus,He was telling Macca how a group of them on bikes and including hundreds of others were stranded Nth of the river and how travellers were being turned around Sth of the crossing and this was just last week,apparently a dump truck loaded with gravel fell off the ferry and it was out for a week,the first they knew the ferry was back in action was the different vechile's coming into the little village,just thought you all might have been interested in the info.cheer's GREENDOG

Actually the truck & trailer did not fall off the ferry, it ran down the ramp. But just as bad!
