Review: Hells Gate Roadhouse - QLD

My husband and I stayed here in September 2012 and thought it was great. They were lovely friendly people, there was fuel available to purchase (we didn't buy any as we didn't need to), they had basic supplies in the shop. There was plenty of space out the back for camping - you could take your pick of spots as it is all unpowered. There was shade from trees and fire pits available and the facilities for showering and toilet were basic but clean, in fact they came round to clean them in the evening after people had finished showering. There was no need to book, you just turned up and paid a flat rate per vehicle. I think they did a really great job.
