has anyone camped around the big river rd area near lake eldion?

Plenty of
well marked
camp areas along the road. River level is quite high and fishing is good. Just be aware that snake activity in this area is reported to be early this year. Regards

Nice formal
campsite where the Big River enters
Lake Eildon (which is nearly full) with quite a few casual camps further upstream. Access is pretty good now the main road is sealed.

thanks heaps for the replys will keep a eye out for the snakes as we have little ones with us, lets hope the fishing is good.
