Hi there,
I am looking for a roof rack mounted awning with built in annex, all in one.
I have a Delica van so needs to be smaller than caravan type.
Would like it to have inner mesh walls with roll down outer canvas walls.
Cant find anything so far so wondered if anyone has found something like this.

Have found ones which have separate add on walls (expensive and bulky to store) to the awning but would like one which has the walls self contained in the awning roll.
thanks

I think you are looking for hens teeth if you are looking for ready made units. The only full annexes in one piece I have seen are the old ones that mounted in sail tracks on the top of the van. They were all the go in the 60s & 70s. They tended to be very heavy even in the smaller units so in the 80s zip or clip on sides became the norm.

The last I have seen in the all in one style was the breeze way annex. I purchased it in 92. They were withdrawn from the catalogue about 5 years after that. You can make your own breeze way annex by purchasing an Oz Tent and attaching the flap to the top of your van.

Thanks,
I think the best I can think of is a standard awning with the clip in mossie net.
Then I could make a couple of clip on canvas side walls.
It would be so nice to be able to stay longer when the flies get bad!

Think you're probably a bit optimistic getting a 3 walls & roof compacted in one mounting.

Possibly talk to the guys at supapeg .... they have self contained no stay awnings with side walls ... pretty ewasy to set up and don't take up much space - the end wall can roll up in the rack mount.

A bit pricey, but good quality.

yes I was looking at their Supa Wing yesterday, looks well made.
Could have a one piece clip on mesh screen made to go all round; would be the business.
