There is an Auto Elec in town- but they seem to be busy all the time fixing mining equipment. However, the Mobile Auto lec (
check in the phone book)- came out to the 'Van park and did some work for me. Good service and good price. !!
Cheers

Hi Dicko, I was in
Broken Hill in 07 and needed an auto electrician and was directed to this mob
Western Auto Electrical
164 Beryl Street,
Broken Hill NSW 2880
(08) 8087 2628
by the mamnger of the
Lake View caravan Park where we were staying at that time.
They did a good job and I was pleased with the fact that while they had the starter out they replaced the bearings also. I can therefore recommend them.
Usual 'no connection with this mob' advise.
Cheers, Bruce.

We can recommend Promec for their service. 13
Kanandah Rd,
Broken Hill, Ph 08-80887086 and capability. They specialise in support to the mining industry so you can expect them to be busy though

Stopped in western auto elec, referred to the caravan centre on
Adelaide road. Great service.
Also used Promec to
check the poly bags, again great service, even take you back to
camp and come get you when it is done
Thanks for the responses
Cheers

Corner Country Outback New South Wales posted this reply on the ExplorOz Facebook page:
You could try Western Auto Electrical at 16 Beryl Street. It's alongside Country Energy on the corner of Bromide and Beryl. Only a block away from the
Broken Hill visitor information centre.
