I have 5 weeks holidays starting in late March, finishing at the end of April. Would it be unrealistic to plan a trip to the tip of
Cape York at this time of year. I have read many conflicting comments regarding the wet season and passability through
Cape York.

Have a look at the wet season they are having....... I would think the creeks will be quite swollen in March...... You can always go up the bypass roads.......A friend of
mine who works for Telstra goes to
Cape York in March every year and gets through..___________________________________

It does depend on the wet, I was up there in April last year with no problems, vehicles were still getting to the tip in late December and some locals from
Weipa had the New Year at Chilli Beach.
