Intending responders should note that the site in question is for self-contained vehicles. I doubt that camper trailers, tents of even some caravans and motor homes would be in accordance with Council's intentions.

Although it does say 'self-contained' there are public toilets there along with undercover BBQ's.

It is a lovely spot along side the river.

Had smoko there on Tuesday, there was a tent, a ute wth a slide on and a large caravan there.
We have club meetings at the covered BBQ each March, the ranger locks the toilets each night about 8.00pm.
It is a nice spot right next to a Flying Fox colony, a great site to see them head off in the evening. The Manning river is wide and beautifull at that point and Wingham has some great services including an award winning cafe. There is a Museum and lots of drives in the hills beyond the town.
I'm not sure the toilets are still locked if they encourage campers, allways thought it was a no overnight place.
It is a clean and well maintained.
Enjoy your visit there.

Public toilet is locked at night, so you need to bring your own. It can get popular with the locals late at night.

Was closed to overnighters cause someone with self contained facilities was stealing electricity and run a live electrical extension cord over the main access road. There can be a bit of vehicular and pedestrian traffic late at night. We all have to share I guess.

Is a very pretty place for lunch and see the surrounding area.
