Any info on the road conditions of the developmental road and OTT in the last week would be appreciated.

Greg - if it is any help I got back from the Cape about 4 weeks ago. Roads were all in pretty good nick with more and more bitumen sections appearing. There is even a 10km section of the Southern ByPass Rd that is now paved. You won't hit the dirt until just south of Laura where they are currently building a high level bridge......this, together with all the other roadworks going on up there, that the next time I'm up that way (usually go every 3 years) I'm likely to have bitumen all the way to Weipa.
