Bought a Gassifying Wood Stove to take away on a recent 10 day trip similar to the one on ebay below. Burns very
well (hot), however seems like I need to add a lot of sticks 3 times to get enough burn time to boil the billy. I suspect the quality of the fuel may be the issue. Has anyone else use these? have you had a similar problem? Or is it a matter of what am I doing wrong?

twigs and sticks, what do you expect, it's like feeding the petrol/diesel to your 4wd with a thimble.
Wood doesn't burn, it pyrolises, produces flammable gases which burn.

Ahh pyrolises, very useful, I'll remeber that next time I'm using it.
As far as my expectations, I was thinking what it was advertised to do.
What do you use in yours by the way?
