Hi robert o,

I have just fitted a brake controller TEKONSHA P3 and have found it great, easy to install and use.

Hope this helps.

P3 for sure .
That way when you putem foot down on the stop pedal you will brake and not break

I agree the Tekonsha works well but it is a "brake" controller for use while towing.
A "break" type, applies the brakes when/if the trailer "breaks" away and stops the trailer now not attached to the tow vehicle. You can have both fitted to the same rig to cover towing and detached situations.
Is a 21Ft 2600kg caravan really an "OFF ROAD" van? Gravel and roughish roads perhaps.

Another one for the P3 Robert.

It is a case of "when only the best will do".

Infinite control and visible disply to help you set it upfor the conditions.
Wiring is simple if you know you way around a circuit.

Cheers, Bruce.

Tekonsha Prodigy ? - my P1 was used to control our camper for 5 years and now the van for 3+ years - totally reliable and trouble free throughout.
