Haven't been there for ages but it has to be one of our favourite south coast beaches. There is a lagoon as well as the main beach. These days its a National Parks campground - when we first went there it was just bush so you could camp where-ever took your fancy, usually overlooking the beach from the back of the dunes.

Cheers,

Steven

It is a fantastic spot with plenty of great campsites, good beach access, and plenty of friendly wildlife to keep the kids amused. The beach is good for fishing alhough can be a bit rough if your children are too small. We have camped there for the last 2 years in July and april and plan to return next year.

The national parks supply firewood, although there is no drinking water in the park, although Tathra is only 15 minutes away, which is also great for supplies and fuel.

You will have a great time.

Great spot outside of school holidays. I'd expect it gets quite busy during peak season.

p.s. local 'goannas' can get quite large :)
