slideon camper tie down

Hi, can anyone recalll how the early model slideon campers 1980s were tied down to holden and falcon wellback utes,as Im looking for a cheaper option than the torq lift and happy jac ones.

g.day, I got that part just trying to work out a secure way to attach the chain to the ute like would a tie down point screwed through the panel do or do you need to attach to the chassie.

on a style sided ute, use to be 4 eye pads bolted thru ute body
fwd point was aft of slide ons fwd tie point & aft one was fwd of slide ons tie point on a tray back use to be chained to load rail Both use to come with 4 turn-buckle's with a lock nut (so they would pull towards & down of each other) you can use 4 cheap jockey
wheels but they have to be side winders & just extend them (weld pipe & bracket) but if you look around you will find some cheapys, I got a good set but had to buy a whole side on for $100 & $50 to dump at
