BT 50 canopy

just ordered a new bt50 when you fit a canopy ARB, EGR etc will the canopy secure the rear tailgate and make the back secure, as the tailgate does not have a lock?

The canopy back window overlaps the tailgate by approx 20mm as for securing the tailgate if someone what's to get in I'm sure they could remember locks are to keep honest people out.
