Hi any interested orchid lovers. DEC in WA run a program called adopt an orchid where volunteers can adopt two orchids on the threatened list and try and find populations to add to those allready known. One that we are looking for is the queen of sheeba that has become rare and only known from a few small populations. If anyone has any info they could pm me. Any info is confidential.
The other orchid we are looking for is the coastal
spider orchid caladenia abbreviata which will start flowering in the next few weeks. Its obviously found near the coast but likely to be near tracks as it is a disturbance opportunist .

Have no photos as yet but easy to find on the net.
