The article is good, but would benefit from explanation on two points:
Longer naps such as the 30 minutes mentioned result in what is known as 'sleep inertia'. Once the person napping lapses into deep sleep it takes to recover to full awareness, so at least thirty minutes should be allowed before driving after a long nap.
A major risk when fatigued is a 'micro sleep' event that may only last milliseconds - but long enough to run off the road.
