Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a new radiator for a Toyota Coaster 1980, Model BB10, Motor 2B 3.2l Diesel, in the
Newcastle area or is the only option a re-core?

It's unlikely that you will find a new radiator at this late stage, the vehicle is 22years old but you could try Toyota, you never know your luck.
As long as the top and bottom tanks are OK, a recore using new cores should restore the radiator back to full efficiency.
Get it done by a radiator specialist (Nat Rad etc) and you should be confident of agood result.
