G'day all, I have just bought an old Warn winch (MRV-B-7) & if someone can help me with a wiring diagram - What goes to F1, F2 & A also where does the original car battery positive 'n negative leads connect to the unit? I have done a google search & nothing there to help unless you are a member of some forums. thanks in advance, dingo

I had an old Warn winch and contacted Warn USA. Gave them the serial numbers and they were able to tell me the month of manufacture. The information, backup and technical assistance was outstanding. they even gave me alternative sources for solenoids for my old winch. I would suggest an email to them would give you a pleasant surprise in old fashioned backup.

G'day again Tony, I sent an email direct to Warn USA & received a very prompt reply with two wiring diagrams for the 2 versions of that winch, very efficient. thanks again, dingo

Dude!

You didn't google anything.

I just googled - Warn MRV-B-7 - and the screen lit up like a X-mas tree with hits.

I will give you the following leads:

(1) MRV - B -7 denotes the motor model, not the winch model

(2) It is a 20 spline 6Hp motor.

Now you can figure the rest out

Not much help but from memory F1 and F2 are + and - get them around the wrong way and the motor will operate in reverse. Burned out a solenoid once and had to swap them around to get the winch cable back in.

Cheers
