Hi folks , I'm in Cairns and want to go up north a bit to see the solar eclipse . There's a festival at Palmer River but it's expensive and there's 4 of us so wonder if anyone knows a good spot to camp up that way

Member Equinox and his faithful canine companion are speeding their way north to Cairns for the Eclipse as we type. He may have something to add or suggest and hopefully will have internet access if he slows down long enough lol.

Cheers Mick

Good one Dave. Hopefully you may spot the silver bullet as he flies past. Not sure of his arrival time in FNQ as he's travelling by the roads less travelled on his way north east. I'll check his progress and report in due course.

Cheers Mick
