I'm looking for the pistol gap track 4wd action did a while ago. I've been looking around the area for a while now have nothing to show for it, I have a fairly good idea of the byfield area. Wondering if there are any other tracks near the top of corio bay?

Cheers for that, it sort of helps, I know where pistol gap is, but I can't find the track. Might be a case where I just have to drive around till I find It

Hey Frank - drive up Kelly's Landing Road. Just before you actually arrive at the Corio Bay boat ramp there's a turnoff to your left.

About 1km down that track (hard to estimate in the bush!) you'll cross a creek bed, and to your right coming up the bank is what I understand to be the Pistol Gap track. It matches up to the 4WD Action DVD footage anyway.

I came within a hair of rolling my Cruiser - took a bad line down the first steep section...

Cheers mate. All I could ever find was the quarry site -.- but there will be a few trucks going, so I hope it's a good drive. Any idea where it comes out or leads to?

Oh nice one - I only just found the quarry two weekends ago.

It's not a very long drive, less than a kilometre. Does a bit of a semi-circle and comes back out on the main track heading North West. There's a few intersections on that main track, but most should spit you out on Corbett's Landing road.

Degree of difficulty? I got a rear locked SWB 40 with a winch. but following me is a LWB Mav and a 09 hilux which is double locked and live axle swapped. Should we have any dramas? Also how long should it take to complete?, roughly
