What is the maximum size tray you can put on a Hilux?
Can you carry the Trayon with the tapered back or do you have to have the cut down version with the bit protruding over the roof?

Hi Twinkles,
You will need to confirm with your State Transport Department but I recall the regulation is 60% rear overhang ...i.e. 60% of the distance between two axles. Then take 60% of that measurement from rear axle to end of tray.
Cheers

I believe the tray length for a dual cab would be 1.8 mt. You need to purchase the dual cab trayon model.

Agree 1800 is standard, even if you could legally make the tray longer it is a lot of weight out behind the rear axle so not a great idea regardless
