went to Joadja yesterday & met the new owners, its great to see this peace of history now owed by such passionate owners who are now opening it up on a regular basis & once you have paid your modest entry fee you are free to take a very informative tour or just wonder about the
ruins & you can even
camp with no extra charges. Its been many years between visits since my first visit in 68 & for those who have been there it has not changed much & those that have not its worth a day or two

Any more details Vince? Eg when is it open,
camping facilities (presumably none), etc. Lots of good things to see around that area.

Bazooka
For
camping there are no facilites other than a cleared padock &
creek (what else do you need) plenty of wild life, but is more about the history & walking thru the
ruins, at the time it was bigger than mittagong, bowral, & moss vale put together. its only 25klms from Mittagong but you wont have any chance of seeing the ghost unless you stay the night, If you google there web site Joadja
creek heritage tours it has plenty of photos & there opening times etc, They said that they will probably close for summer
Im not so good at getting photos on this site
