Review: Australia Road & 4WD Atlas - Spiral Bound

I have used previous editions of this book to traverse Australia many times in the last ten years. I chose the spiral bound edition this time so that I can easily turn the pages and lay the book down flat at any page. The book compliments my purchase of the HEMA HN6 Navigator and makes both products the perfect choice for both "digital warriors" and "print perfectionists" to scour and accumulate data at their leisure. The maps in the Road Atlas are crystal clear with easy to read print and with a great combination of logical/visually pleasing colours. The price is right too. I find that 50% of the pleasure in travelling is captured in the planning stage - sitting in the comfort of your arm chair, visualising each bend of the road whilst up to your eyeballs in maps and notes, grinning from ear to ear, thinking of your work mates going to work in heavy traffic.
