Has anyone bought Cooper Zeon LTZ tyres and be prepared to offer an opinion?
I have a Pajero NT and will need new rubber between now and when we head to Katherine next year.

garytee - When I purchased my 79 series landcruiser they had a new set of cooper Zeons LTZ on it. The previous owner, a farmer, said that it was his third set on vehicles and the previous set on the cruiser he got 70k kms. He would not run any other tyre. When he purchased the landcruiser it was a condition of the purchase back in 2003 that it had those tyres on it.

Since owing the vehicle I have put another 35k kms on the new tyres and would expect to get 60k kms out of them. They have not been any sort of problem - quite of on the road.

Would I buy another set - I doubt it - just changed the original tyres on my 120 prado
which are dunlop at 90k kms. Would have pushed them a bit further except we were going away and could have cost me more to source tyres away from home.

I have used Cooper LTZ (255/55/19) on my Landrover Discovery 4 and did a trip through Central and West Australia. We went to chambers Pillar and the Bungles and El Questro and put 26,000 km on them. The only thing I did drive to the conditions and remembering I had 19" wheels and low profile tyres.
During the whole trip I had no problems with the car or tyres and would highly recommend them.
They do have a slight hum on the blacktop, but not intrusive and still have at least 30,000km wear left as well. I will certainly buy them again.
