For many West Aussies there is a lot to explore right on Perth's doorstep.

We just spent a few days out in the NE Wheat Belt. You can read about it here in my Blog:
The Granite Loop Trail

We left it a bit late in the year, mid-winter would be better. Nevertheless, any time spent away in the bush is good.

cheers

Hi Gone Bush,

Timely information for me. Thankyou.
We (two couples) are planning a trip to the West and then north and into NT. Havent been further north than Karijini as yet in WA or north of Three Ways in NT so there is so much to see. The two men are avid fishermen, will carry a tinny, and I will be looking for bushwalks and photo opportunities. I am in charge of itinerary and route so will be reading blogs and looking for any information.
Both vans will be set up to travel on dirt and away from power.
Think we will be away for 6 months, leaving towards the end of April.
Can't wait....new van expected around Christmas so can't even look at it and dream!
Tragic eh? lol

cheers,
Heather
