Good evening everyone,
I am considering an electric brake controller for my trailer, probably the TEKONSHA P3. I heard most newer vehicles have a brake controller plug-in point located under the dash. Is that the case for the LC troop carrier 2012?
Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick
I have just fitted brake control on my 76 series 2012, and blue wire from plug is just tape up at end of tow loom, so doubt that any other wiring is done factory
Cheers Ken

Hi Nick,
Had the same problem with my LC200. You can buy the genuine tekoshna loom from the States but it is only for US models that have the plug under the dash. Not in Australia. The loom is the same as the loom supplied with the P3 in Aus. except the Aus one is less the plug at one end.
Lots of info on lcool.org on this subject.
cheers
Guy
