Doing a solo trip to Birdsville for the start of the drive then crossing the Simpson for Mollys Bash. I expect it will be busy up that way but was wondering if anyone here is doing the same trip?

You will enjoy your trip to Birdsville - there will be plenty of people travelling most roads into Birdsville from the beginning of May. I suggest you give the Wirrarri Information Centre in Birdsville a call on (07) 46563300 and ask them to send you an info pack on the area and the Cattle Drive (pronto). Have no info for you on Mollys Bash tho. Safe trip and see you when you get here.

Craig,

A group of eight of us are travelling from Brisbane to Birdsville for the cattle drive.
I'm spending the week before at Innamincka to get in the mood. Look for a dark brown Landcruiser rego 212OWE. Might have some hops cordial with you. See you there. Mal.
