Not on a Cruiser but I have one on my GQ Patrol and it works well.
The gear changes are much firmer but I also got their torque convertor lock up kit as well and when towing I tow in 3rd gear and manually lock the torque convertor as this gives the best results in keeping the auto temps down.
Regards Andrew.

I had wholesale fit all of thier mods to my transmision.
Heavy duty tourqe converter, Valve body, Lock up switch & temp gauge.

The tourqe converter failed with in 5000km & the vehicle was returned to them for a replacment.
& i was charged $600 for oil & labor.

I dont rate the valve body at all, The firmess of shifting has not changed.

The lock up switch & temp gauge is the only thing i would do, If i was to do it all agian (but you dont need wholesale for that)

$4000 later & wholesale is a dirty word for me.

Hamo, I was very interested in our reply and the fact that you had issues with the torque convertor. I am in the process of buying the same as you got except for the temp gauge which I already have on my Pajero. I was on another forum and talking to a mate who had just got his Lock Up switch fitted. He took his Pajero to have his auto tramission serviced and was told by the mechanic that he has removed many damaged torque converters which he said were caused by the lock up switch.
Having just read the issues you had I am having second thoughts about the TC upgrade, forgetting the lock up switch and just getting the nomad valve body.
Could you please give me more information with regards to you towing a van or what were you doing generally within that 5000klm before the TC let you down.
I am planning a trip across the Tannami next year and don't want to have the same issues out there.

What is the web site for this mob? I put "auto wholesaler" into Google and only got a list of used car sharks.
