Here ya go >>
Clamping knobs, Star knobs etc...
Not in
Perth, but it'll give ya an idea of what's available...
Pretty sure Bunnings has a selection of the tri-lobe knobs.. may be more, but I haven't checked in a while...

Looks a lot like the knobs that hold a UHF onto its bracket.

You can also find them in the RS catalog. They have a counter in Osborne
Park to look it up & order some - yours looks like a metric thread. If you quoted the thread type / size & length I can look it up and post the item # tomorrow or you can look up the online catalog of RS, under the fastener section (I think) and chase the number & price from there.
They have a minimum quantity, maybe 5 or 10 for that item.

In the theatrical lighting business they are known at tri-
wheels.
almost any decent theatrical lighting suppier will have them in 3/8 ww and perhaps 5/16 and 1/4
Last time a checked,
Cliff Electronics had a plastic knob that would take either an 8mm or a 5/16 heax bolt of choice or a nut.....drop thebolt or nut in and snap on the cap
Some of the engneering
places have a selection.
Carbatec, a woodworking supplier with branches in all capitol cities except
Darwin has a wide selection.
as has been said
places like Camec, Ovesco and some of the cabinet makers supplies have them.
worst comes to worst buy some threaded rod and wing nuts.....brase the wing nuts on the threaded rod.......these will last longer than any plastic.
Or if you are a wood turner.....turn a knob of the desired shape and epoxy in threded rod.
cheers
