Hi all,

Just a quick question for those people that have brought a caravan brand new. The Rv guard they offer for like $1600 for both internal and external did anyone get it done? Do you recommend it or is it just another money waster.

Cheers!

Sorry I should have explained it better. In the interior it protects against stains on fabric, vinyl and leather surfaces caused by food and drinks also prevents fading of all interior surfaces by the sun.

Exterior Protects against stains and paint damage caused by:

bird / bat droppings
fading, discolouration and loss of gloss
paint oxidation

Adds a glass-like finish to the paintwork.

Pretty much similar if you buy a new lounge they ask you would you like to pay extra to spray the lounge with a product called scotch guard i think it is called.

Hope this helps explain it to everyone.

Cheers! Bretto!

Similar to and probably no better than Vantec. Also look at threads 37832 & 64869

Probaly just like the paint and fabric protection they sell with new cars.

There is a professional detailer on one of the other forums and his comments on such products is scathing.

In short, the paint protection is no better than a good car polish and the fabric protection is no better than you can buy in a spray tin at the supermarket.

$1600...money for jam and heaps of profit.

cheers
