is a permit required for camping in the
flinders ranges for example Warrens
Gorge and if so :
1. where do i get one
2. how much
3. valid for how long

Donald, not being at
home at the moment, I cant immediately confirm this, but contact the
Quorn Council Office for help.

As
Warren Gorge is not in the national park, I believe it is free to
camp. Either the
Quorn Coucil or the RAA of SA will tell you for sure.

Hi mate, camping is permitted at
Warren Gorge but there are no facilities hence no fees. Most of the Flinders is
free camping with no facilities however you have to pay to
camp at established camps like Wilpena, Mt Remarkable, and Arkaroola. There's a nice Flinders Hema map in our
Shop with good info... hint hint!

You must also pay to
camp anywhere in the

Yes but I think they operate the honesty box system with a fee of around $8 per site. It's not part of a permit as I recall.
