I have a 16ft off road caravan and 200 series GX cruiser. I placed a camera on the rear of my caravan hard wired to my dashboard to a mirror/monitor attached to my rearvision mirror. The mirror monitor is two heavy for the rearvision mirror and causes bad vibration on a good sealed road, let alone what would happen on a dirt road. The supplier has taken back the the mirror monitor. I am ready for a new GPS and thought that one with a camera screen facility would be the go. Has anyone used them? are they successful ? any preferences ? or other ideas ?
Cheers Chris

I have a mirror mounted screen for the reversing camera, it travels without vibration except for really bad corrigations, I have noticed in the past before screen attached the mirror still vibrated on corrigations.

Hi Chris,
I have replaced the radio in my 2008 GXL 200 with a combo radio/gps/bluetooth/ipod/ozexplorer/dvd unit - best thing I ever did. I have wired the cameras (both van and vehicle) into it an have the output show automatically when on reverse or an over-ride switch for cheking while driving.
While I have a Polaris unit and generally am happy with it, there are now better units around.
Cheers
Captain
