Hi guys,
I have been researching for a couple of months now for the best site which offer the best deals of camper trailer. I'm considering this
http://www.mycampertrailer.com.au/ particularly their semi-off road since we don't usually go full-off road when
camping. Actually, I have been monitoring their site too as
well as their social media account to check if they are credible and what other people have said about their
services.
Any suggestions or other sites where I can have my inquiries? In this way, I will have lots of options. A camper trailer is a bit expensive so I need to have the best choice.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

Depends how many people we were only 2 & went for a hard floor which was great but steer clear of Cub Campers as that's what we bought - build quality is very poor, after sales service is non existent. Hard floor is easy to clean, no climbing over other person to get out if bed, good size for 3 with not much work best of luck

That's what I also need Michelle because I usually
camp with my husband and son only. So, I would include hard floor as one of the characteristics to look for when choosing a camper trailer. Plus, you won't disturb other people who are still sleeping when you get out of bed. Nice point. Thanks Michelle.

Hi Samantha
I would look at the classified section of this site (exploroz.com) and ,campertrailers.org.
both are excellent.
Both will give you heaps to look at and the full range of prices.
As there are an excellent range of preloved camper trailers about you may find a second hand CT will be the way to go as you tend to get good value for your $$'s, of course it all comes down to personal choice but I would go for a hard floor, easier to set up and pack up in my experience.
Good luck with your research, hope this helps.
Cheers
Ed

Thanks Willawa. I'm afraid of second hand CT as I don't know how to choose the best one or should I say which one among them is still in good condition. But there's no doubt about it that I can really save $$ with it. I'm just new to exploroz and I haven't known that there are classified ads which is really good. My bad. I should have read
well. I will look at it and do lots of research. I will consider 2nd hand CT though.

What's your budget?
This is a key factor people should know before they make their recommendations. No point talking about $50K vans if you are only prepared to spend $10K

Yeah your right Derek Jones. Before looking into the different characteristics, I should think of my budget.

Have you had a look at tear drop campers?
Wish I had, we had a very capable off road camper but as I got older I always put my back out while putting it up. got to the stage we had to sell it. Looking back we never really used the fold out bit, we were either in bed or outside under the awning.

Hi Samantha, as others have said, lots of scources of info, the net, caravan and
camping magazines, clubs(visitors welcome), for sale ads in papers, auto trader magazine(vans etc..) . I strongly suggest if you can, go to the caravan/camping/4wd shows that are on in each of the states and look at the various offerings. Most of the makers are on show at one place, its very good for comparison. They are all set up,demonstrated and you can get good discounts at 'show' prices.
costs vary from about $5,000 up to $20,000 or more, depends what you want and how much you have to spend.
MG.

We bought ours from a caravan dealer, they trade them in from people wanting to upgrade to a caravan, and then the dealer just want to get rid of them.
We bought a really good one for $2,500, no leaks, full annex etc plus pull out sink, stove and gas hot
water.
