Howdy all!

Am seriously thinking of getting a couple of these but have never seen them handle decent winds. I've definitely seen them cop some heavy rain with no troubles though.

I like them for the price, footprint size and the vertical height as opposed to the setup time. Fast setup is nice but not a priority for me.

Has anyone had them through 35+ knots? I've only found one review, on youtube, and the report was that it was noisy (no problems there) but held up - But that's all I could find.

Was camped just north of Jurien a few years ago. Big winds that night. Camper rocked.....Wasnt the wife and I. Hopped out to anchor the shower tent to the camper....she was gone....the shower tent, and not the wife. Looked around the next day, to no avail.
Had pegs, but the were just the foot long steel ones, and it was sandy too.
I was happy for it to go, as it would no longer fold up properly.....the twisty frame, somehow twisted the wrong way within the channels, and would not fold how it should.
Have another the same, but now anchor to the camper.
BW....

Sorry, should have mentioned I'm talking about the 4p or 6p if the are properly staked and guyed. The first thing I do with a new tent is replace the pegs!

I took a Black Wolf Lite tent (nearly the same type) up the Cape last August and we camped one night at Captain Billy's landing where the only space available was right on the edge of the beach. I reckon the wind was 60 to 70 Ks, It was awkward to put up but handled the wind alright just a bit noisy.
Cheers Dave

Hi, I've got the 6 man and used on Fraser for 5 nights without issues but no big storms.

I noticed the local tentworld had an 8man up in a yard out the back for 2-3 weeks including some of those big Brissy storms we had in November. It looked to still be standing the week after but of course it may have been reset.
