Not sure about tracks but there are Wikicamps and Camps Australia Wide apps. There are a few mapping apps such as Maps n Tracks which can use the same maps as Oziexplorer. Search the app store.

Hi Les,

Not that I have anything to compare it to but for my money it's the HEMA app. $180 (or thereabouts) from the Itunes store. I must admit I was a bit sceptical at first but literally would have been lost countless times without it.

Hema Ipad App You Tube

The GPS works really well and picks up your location even in the thick of it. Considering how much you pay for an actual GPS unit like a Hema navigator this gets the job done for a fraction of the cost.

Cheers

Craig

Hi Les, you could try the MotionX GPS app (free) from the iTunes app store, I have found it to be rather good, or, you could download the Whereis app, same mapping software that Garmin use on their GPS systems.

Cheers,
