G'day,
As already mentioned all 4wd tracks closed to the public.
Pretty formal camping area with the lot & very busy in holidays. If you're into overnight Backpack camping there are some lovely spots that are walk in only. It's a very scenic park & worth the trip.
I actually like to go there mid winter with good waterproof gear on & walk the beaches in the wild weather. Not great for camping though then.
Here is a link for you.

Hi thanks for the reply we had a look at the website and noticed that a lot of camping down the south is walk in only so where do you leave your vehicle and can you buy a pass for those areas. It definately looks beautiful and hope my kids can do all that walking.

Yep you can leave your vehicle near the visitor centre where you buy your overnight permits.

The overnight walks tend to go over a number of ridges & mountains so bear in mind they can be tiring carrying all your gear so don't push for too many Km's each day.
If you haven't done overnight walks before plan your menu & stick to it so the food lasts out.
Enjoy, it's a lovely part of the country. You won't be disappointed but take your time & don't make it a marathon.

IMHO most overrated, incredibly restricted, overcrowded and over-regulated place. Been there once and never again. Over X-mas you have to book in advance (think April-May), you only can book in lots of weeks only (they do not care if your schedule going over weekend and they will tell you try to book two weeks) and if too many booking (common) then they do some kind of lottery. Good luck with that. Though if you brave enough over winter it almost empty, scenery is still nice and you can easy book walking track for you (yep, need to be booked as well). Though no campfire. Did I told you that I been here, done that and decided that it is enough for rest of my life?
