To the few people here who volunteer to caretake the bustling town of Milparinka- check out 'The Land' newspaper this week (dated December 27th). Good article on the 'most remote Driver Reviver'.
Cheers to all for the New Year.

Hi Wombat &Elsa
We too, are volunteers at Milparinka - go for 2 weeks each year. Were there late July early August this year? A wonderful and educational experience. Meet so many interesting people. Ruth Sandow does a great job. Will check out "the land".
Happy new year and safe travels in 2013!
Cheers
Jinki & Harry.

Corner Country Outback New South Wales posted this reply on the ExplorOz Facebook page:

Thank you for your interest in the Milparinka Volunteer program. The following page has generic information about it, or you can email me : visitcornercountry@bigpond.com. For 2013 two periods are vacant at the moment, the last two weeks of August, the first two weeks of September, unless we have a cancellation.
