My two favourite places, Kingston Se and Goolwa. Has anyone rode a boat from kingston se into the murray mouth and up to the goolwa aqua club?

I'm guessing it's technically possible as long as the mouth is open. Any idea how long it would take and what type of boat one would need?

Please don't think that I am trying to be smart, did you mean "rode in a boat", or " rowed a boat"? Thanks

I meant to add that I have motored a boat in & out of the Murray mouth, but thankfully have never had to row it!

Definitely not rowed. I've got this hair brain idea today and just trying to scratch that itch. I've been googling but perhaps I'm not using the right language because i'm not getting any good hits in reference to it.

i would imagine it would have to be a fairly small boat to navigate into the mouth.

200km of open ocean for starters, and many a boat has come to grief getting in through the mouth.

Yes, grief as in the DEATH type!
Now is the only time you own
Decide now what you will,
Place faith not in tomorrow
For the clock may then be still

Get in touch with any sea kayaking club - there's no doubt someone would have tackled this trip at some stage.
