We are joining a tagalong tour in the
Vic High Country 17th Feb and thought we would travel down through the NSW High Country on the way (maybe incl. Brindabellas)
Has anyone taken that approach. We will be towing an off road CT.
Thanks
Noels

Most of the NSW side is the Kosciusko National Park, and under a management plan released many moons ago the bulk of it was locked up unless you are on horseback or push-bike. All the fun starts from the border. There is a road through the Brindabellas to Tumut but it's not much of a challenge. From Tumut you could (via road) go to
Batlow,
Tumbarumba, and then
Khancoban to Tom Grogin and up into the High Country over Mt Pinabar, or you could go Tumba to Corryong and in from there. If your tour starts at
Bright like many do you could find your way through the high country to there. The Rooftop maps are the best for the VHC.

Well..... It depends on where in the High Country you are talking about. And where you are starting from too.
If the trip starts in
Mansfield then that would be a totally different approach to say
Omeo or
Licola
Where are you, and where does the trip start?
