Hi All,
Planning to be in the Bungle Bungle area in early Aug. Only have an ON ROAd camper and so reluctant to travel to the BB with this. I am geared up
well enough to be self sufficient for a couple of days. QN: Is there somewhere convenient that I can leave my van while I travel into the BB for a couple of nights??
Thanks for replies in advance.
Jason.

Hi Jason,
There are a number of options. This is a frequently asked question so if you go to the search box at the top RH corner of the page and put in something like "Bungle Bungle caravan" you will get a list of
forum posts,
blogs etc that will answer your question.
Cheers,
Val

Hi Jason,
The caravan park is the Mabel Downs Station CP. We were their last August and from memory it was $20 per day to store. They were pretty good as they permitted us to have a shower before and after visiting the bungles. You will need to book with WA parks authority to be able to
camp at the Bungles. We did this at Kununara WA Parks authority as you cannot do it at the
visitors centre. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Enjoy.

In 2010, before Mabel Towns CP opened we parked our caravan in a secure compound at Warmun (Formerly Turkey Creek). Cost us $10 per night. It is about 50km north of the Bungle Bungle turn off on the Great Northern Hwy. There is also a Caravan park there but you need to book ahead.
