Hi all
Happy New Year to everyone
For Xmas I got a rear light bracket from my son for my GU Patrol and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a decent light.

Not looking for something that will light up the world just one that will help with reversing more then anything

Thanks in advance for your assistance
Cheers
Dax

hi dax
what about an led type light
no globes to worry about if your able to weld attach to the bracket on a suitable mounting plate

G'day Dax,

I got an LED worklight for my Landcruiser. I bought it from a company that had an ad in 4wd Action, but I just had a quick look and couldn't find the ad.

It cost $37.50 plus $10.00 postage and it's a really good light.

Being LED it doesn't draw as much power as a Halogen, it has a strong aluminium body with fins that help get the heat away.

I have a switch on the right of my dash that I switch it on with to set up camp or when I'm reversing.

Hoo roo,
Steve

I was in Autobarn today and there was a beaut auxiliary LED fully sealed reversing light for around $50. If it had been discounted to $24 like the identical amber and red lights on either side of it I would have picked one up.
In a nearby display were LED floodlights for mounting higher up, two sizes with the larger ones around $80. Pity the LED stuff is initially higher priced, but no doubt well worth it.
The ones from 4WD Action might be the go.

So you want some thing decent that doesn't work very well?

Or do you want something that's average that's puts out average light.
