Hi everyone, this morning on the way to work i passed a convoy of 4x4's heading south from thirlmere(south of syd) with a NPWS 4x4 following them up, this is not the first time i have seen them on a saturday morning. Does anyone know where they were going? i thought maybe to yerranderie via water board land but i thought they did that up near oakdale...
Oh, and have a great Australia Day & long weekend,
regards steve

Just call the local NPWS office and get them to send out a Discovery program calender of events. The Tag-a-longs are very resonably priced I believe. The NPWS web site might also be handy. I know NPWS will also plan a trip to suit a group aswell, disabled etc - so if you have something in mind give them a call. But don't expect a 4WD extreme challenge !!! In NSW only areas on private property cater for that.Cheers, Beddo

Steve
I suggest the 'convoy' was your local 4WD club (possibly Wollondilly 4WD Club) on the way out to do a bush clean up - maybe towards Little River.
Most of the 4WD clubs liase with NPWS or SCA to clean up bushlands (in National Prks etc)- removing cars bodies and the like.
Thats my suggestion anyway- as I have been involved in such an exersise.
Have a good one
