Hi All, the other day i saw a ap 60 c/control in a
shop for 199$ is this a good price and are they easy to install(1994 gq manual,petrol)

Sounds like a normal price to me. I have seen them here (WA) for around the $200 mark. I installed an AP50 in my surf and it was easy (3Hrs). Works good.

shop had it marked down from 320$ this was in Giffith nsw,how long have you had yours and is your surf manual

Had the CC 2yrs now and the surf is a manual 2.4. I also bought my AP50 from Kmart for $169 2 yrs ago.

Fitted an AP60 a couple of days ago with not to much trouble. GU 4.2TD Manual. Bought it for $225 at the local Auto One. Another Auto One store had them for $295. Works Great.

KMart have a 20% special on auto parts at the moment. Got an AP50 yesterday, for $160-00, fitted it this afternoon and no problemss. Its running
well. Command wanted $32-00 for a clutch switch so I went to the 4wd wreckers and bought a GQ brake switch for $10 and fitted it to the clutch and presto everything works perfect.
