Have replaced one injector @ 140k but problem has re-occurred at 150k. Dealer recommends replacement of all 6 injectors @ $1,000 each. Does any member have any recommendations on whether to repair or replace the injectors ? Also any recommended diesel specialists in Perth ?

$1K each? Unbelievable. Another reason to stick with petrol when the Jack needs replacement.

My pre-CRD Nissan injectors cost $150 15 years ago and they could be 'reconditioned'.

This fella had a similar problem and had them cleaned. Worth a try at that price. Also noticed a comment about LR injectors at $600 on ebay. Might be worth a look.

My son had dirty fuel destroy the injectors in his Common Rail Diesel Hilux at 70,000 ks.
Toyota quoted him over $5000 – he got his local injector service to do it around $4000.
About $1000 per injector.
