Today we awoke to the cold front having pasted over and there was no wind, so we did some chores and then went for our last
snorkel this time trying the Lakeside
Snorkel site.
As you know we do not have an underwater camera, however these are the fish we saw today, the
water was a little murky after yesterdays winds instead of the crystal clear
water usually on offer. As there was no wind it was easier to
snorkel and I did much better today and saw tens of very small fluorescent blue fish, black and white striped fish, a yellow fish, a gorgeous angel fish and some large fish perhaps emperor. It was a really lovely way to finish off our time here in
Exmouth.
It is real shame that the photos do not show the colour of the
water it is the most turquoise I have ever seen more so than the Whitsunday Islands.
