It’s Raining

There’s been a steady drizzle all night at Nyngan. As per the BOM forecast it kicked off promptly around 19.00 last night and has continued ever since.
It’s not unwelcome for the locals. It’s a good steady soaking rain that will penetrate the soil and provide good moisture for the months to come.

We had a wander around the caravan park yesterday. And came cross a good size long horn cow.. That provided a minor dilemma- Kitty wanted to take it home because it looked so cute ( going to need a bigger fence), Bec wanted the horns to mount on the wall at home & I'm trying to pretend I never saw it so I don’t have to come up with an excuse about why we can’t do any of this??.

We wandered off to town last night to check out the culinary delights available. The rissole (RSL) was a clear winner. Thursdays are parmie night. We happily demolished them and left our plates spotless as our parents always told us too.

We’re off to Wilcannia today. The forecast is for steady rain as a north easterly rain formation moves on through. Hopefully the place we’re staying at in Wilcannia will be accessible. They’ve had a bit of rain too.

After that it’s Broken Hill for a few days.

Ps the descriptions on the photos need to be moved around. The wrong descriptions were put on the wrong photos. I’ll let you work out what should go where ??
