After quite a few months of planning by our friends Peter & Sue & lots of planning ourselves, we are finally heading off to wander through SA, NT & WA, visiting
places neither of us have seen in detail before.
I saw some of the major towns in 2000 while working with the Olympic Torch Relay. These trips were usually brief and limited to where the Torch Relay route was going.
There is one place that stood out - Kununarra Airport. The gardener was obviously proud of their garden and the blooming roses, so they’d given the garden a good dose of blood & bone fertiliser the day before. The odour was powerful ! ?? but the roses looked good.
Anyway , we’re heading off to

park there today.
