Dear ExplorOz Reader,
How recently did you last visit ExplorOz.com? How many
parts of the site have you used? You may see some interesting changes in the near future as we implement the next stage of updates to the ExplorOz website.
Site improvements that have recently taken place include:
- Easier Site Navigation – Many links that used to exist in the left hand column have been
removed to allow a cleaner and uncluttered look. This assists the eye to look at the main menu
and when you hover over an item such as Topics, you will see all the article categories in there. Clicking
on a menu item will now be highlighted in orange, making it easier to work out where you are and where you've visited..
- Descriptive Hover Text – Menu items and links now have text boxes appear when you hover over them with your mouse.
This hover-text is a short description explaining where the menu link will take you.
- New Search Option – In the main menu you will see a magnifying glass next to the word Search. Using this feature
enables a full ExplorOz website search in the directory, the shop, articles and much more. Click on the Help button to
learn how to use this feature.

Custom Boat Loaders – fully electric, remote control units now available!
Sit back and enjoy a cold beer after a hard day's fishing while you simply press a button on the
12v electric remote control unit to load your boat!
Here’s Bill putting into the water at Acraman Creek near Smoky Bay, SA.
The units are the same rock solid construction as the cordless drill operated units, but
the gearbox and electric motor is mounted in the centre of the loader.
The Kedron Caravan boys used the Custom Boat Loader remote controlled units on their latest trip – in Dec 2006 - up the Fraser Coast from 1770
to Noosa in QLD. They are so impressed with the loaders they are now dealers and stockists. Watchout for their DVD of the trip due out in March.
