Trek Notes

When ExplorOz was first launched in March of the year 2000, ExplorOz featured 25 Trek Notes. Today, some 8 years later Trek Notes continue to be the core of our publishing efforts with 149 Trek Notes now online. Unlike buying a book of treks, you have access to these factual guide notes for free. You also benefit from the fact that we republish and update throughout the year so you are never stuck with an old edition. The following list contains Trek Notes that have just been fully updated.

In the same vein as the "traveller's grapevine", we actively encourage and welcome your input (eg. text information and photos) to any of the waypoints shown in the trek notes for places with which you are familiar. While you are at it, share your feedback and give places you've been a rating.

Calling all OziExplorer Users!
There are still many routes in our Treks system for which we need to obtain plot files in order to convert them to the new format. Much as we'd like to, we obviously can't drop everything to drive and record all these routes but we're sure there are many people in our audience that have already taken the trouble to record the track file. If you think you can help, please refer toPost 53346 in the Forum for more information.
