ExplorOz Newsletter - 291

Edition 291: 21st June 2013

Hi ExplorOz Reader,

Welcome to another edition of the ExplorOz newsletter. This newsletter is distributed fortnightly to bring you up to date with what's new on ExplorOz so please sit back and enjoy the read.

The EOKey

Keep Your Information Secure

Are you the private type? With the new EOKey you get the best of both worlds. You can use the wonderful tools provided with your ExplorOz Member Profile to keep your friends and family informed of where you are and what you're up to, without anyone else on ExplorOz being able to see it.

The EOKey is a new tool which allows you to "lock" information that you have submitted to the EOTrackMe and ExplorOz Blogs system. To access the pages, a password (that you create) is required.

For more information on how this works, read the ExplorOz Key for Blogs and ExplorOz Key for EOTrackMe. If you aren't already a member, join now, and start recording your journey!

ExplorOz Blog Drafts

Don't Lose Your Unfinished Blogs

The ExplorOz Blogs system now allows you to draft your blog before it's published live. This is a great improvement because we know you're sometimes unexpectedly interrupted, or need to find more information or photos. By default all blogs are visible so if you wish to save a draft, just untick the "Visible" checkbox before you click "submit'.

Members Newsletters

How To Access Back Issues

Over the years we've sent many Members-only Newsletters. These have been filled with information for Members eyes only. If you've joined recently you may not have had a chance to read these editions of the ExplorOz Newsletter, so we've just made all past editions available to read in the Articles section.

You need to be a current member to access the Members Newsletter section. (Note - old offers & information may now be void). Please enjoy these back issues & let us know if you see any past ideas you'd like repeated for the Membership, by emailing info@exploroz.com.

New Caravan Stability Article

By Collyn Rivers

Caravan stability is an evolving area in which a fair amount has yet to be established and proven. The interaction between trailers and their towing vehicles has been understood by the transport industry since WW1, but almost all has only been described in engineering papers and substantially in mathematical terms. Collyn Rivers is about the only technical writer attempting to explain this subject in reasonable clear English.

The Caravan Stability article has been prepared over the past few weeks specifically for ExplorOz audiences and provides design guidelines and tips that assist owners to avoid major buying and usage errors.
