Wildflower Image Bloomin' News - Daisybushes or Olearia are members of the huge daisy family (Asteraceae). All daisies have the familiar daisy-like composite flowerheads made up of many tiny flowers, often with different types of flowers within the one flowerhead. There are about 130 different species of Olearia and they are found mostly in Australia, New Guinea and New Zealand. Olearias includes softer herbaceous plants, shrubs and even small trees, unusual among the daisy family. Olearias are tough plants and many are found in semi-arid areas.

Our database currently lists 4 species. Can you add further samples?
